Channel 4 Gogglebox stars have shocked viewers after sharing their bold new looks on Instagram. 

Taking to the social media platform, fans of sibling duo Sophie and Pete Sandiford were left stunned as the stars showed off their new style. 

Flashing pearly white teeth and bold lips, the pair looked as if they had undergone surgery for their new look. 

Fans of Gogglebox were quick to flock to the comments as one said the makeover was "scary".

Discussing the picture, one fan wrote: "I actually started panicking till I saw Pete and knew it was a joke……..thank God, ur both lovely as you r!"

Whilst another Gogglebox fan wrote: "Christ, I did a double take then 😫 Look forward to seeing you next week in your normal unenhanced loveliness!"

Another fan said: "The scary thing is, there are people out there who have done this and look like this for real and think they look good!"

Captioning the post, Gogglebox star Sophie wrote: "Me n r pedro ready for series 22."

The new series of Gogglebox starts on Channel 4 and All 4 on Friday, September 8 at 9pm. 

Regular stars of the show are set to reappear including the likes of Jenny Newby and Lee Riley.

Confirming the exciting news, Jenny and Lee took to Instagram and shared a video saying "We're back on your tellies", captioning the post: "It’s nearly time for series 22 hope you're going to join us on Sept 8th at 9 to watch a bit of tele with us."
