Amazon Alexa users were reporting issues with the platform on Monday.
Users were unable to use Amazon’s Alexa service with others also realising that Ring doorbells were also not working.
According to Down Detector, issues started at around 2pm with users unable to use their Alexa devices.
Problems were recorded by Alexa users across the UK on Down Detector including in London and Manchester.

Of the problems reported, 94% relate to server connection while 4% relate to the app.
A further 2% relate to the website.
One user said: “#ringdown #alexadown what's happening? Everything is down...”
Another said: “@AmazonHelp is ring and Alexa down. Can’t get to anything Amazon in the house”

A third said: “Hey @AmazonUK is the Alexa service down? Echo not responding to voice, won’t connect to internet etc”
At the time of writing, Amazon has not confirmed any outage with Alexa or Ring.
