IN response to the letter from Civic Voice expressing concern about the demolition of the Blackburn Royal Infirmay Memorial Wing (LT, January 26), I actually saw the plans for this area over eight years ago at Ivy Street Community Centre.
Where is the justice whereby a company can can buy a piece of land for development containing a beautiful building, bought by the people, and turn it into a sprawling wasteland?
Is the civic voice in a mouth without teeth?
