Regarding the story (LT, July 7) about the climbing of Darwen’s India Mill chimney, well done lads for showing the true British bulldog spirit.
It’s lads like these that will walk solo to the North Pole or climb Everest.
This country is full of wimps, health and safety, human rights etc.
Firemen can’t use stepstools to fit smoke alarms but can go into a raging inferno to save lives.
Lads, be careful. Good luck. Don’t do any damage to other people’s property.
