I watched Trooping the Colour on television in honour of HM Queen Elizabeth’s birthday.
It was magnificent and a lot of hard work had been put on to make sure it was right on the day.
All the regiments were a joy to watch and our regiments are the best in the world.
I’m writing to give a special praise to the horses who behaved impeccably as it was not easy for some to stand in one position and in close formation for a long time.
They carried out their task with flying colours and I praise them and their riders for all their hard work.
Praise also to all our soldiers for all their efforts in making it a great day. Also the pilots and crew in the planes in the fly-past which was done with such precision.
Finally, a special thank you to the crowds of people who gathered to watch the ceremony to honour our Queen and make it a great day to remember.
“Bless em all”, An Oldie.
