THE new Mall in Blackburn town centre is an excellent shopping experience.
The new market is also slowly coming up to what shoppers will expect for the cost involved.
Any gripes? The lack of lifts. This is even more obvious now the lower floor market is open.
The queues for the two lifts on a Friday and Saturday are horrendous.
What will it be like at Christmas – especially with Christmas Day being on a Sunday this year?
Surely it wouldn’t have cost much more to put a single-floor lift just to travel from the market to level one.
I fear market traders will suffer as those with pushchairs and wheelchairs will not walk around when the cold weather arrives.
