While Chris Huhne is concerned about his political future due to an alleged motoring offence, we should all be concerned about his commitment, which is backed by the PM and the Coalition Government, to halve greenhouse gasses by 2027.
Analysts have stated that we would need to generate 97% of our electricity by wind or nuclear sources, insulate 3.5 million homes and that 60% of all new cars would have to be electric.
In effect, it would double the price of our energy bills which, in turn, would increase the cost of living and cause our businesses to lose their competitiveness.
Huhne, Cameron and the Coalition are merely playing to their climate-change audience who have been taken in by what is a global tax-raising scam.
