ON the subject of rail fare anomalies (Opinion, April 4), this week I tried to book a single ticket from London Euston to Manchester for June 23.
The National Rail website quoted me £98 if I caught the 18.00, £30.50 for the 18.20 or 18.40, and £46 for the 19.00.
Where is the logic in any of this?
