IT is becoming more and more an everyday thing that young people are losing their lives in car incidents due to high speeds.
The latest, in South Yorkshire, is a prime example.
Roads today are like race tracks where young drivers like to show off skills and have no regard for other road users.
They always say ‘it won’t happen to me because I’m a good driver’, but you are only as good as far as you have been taught by an authorised instructor.
I feel deeply for the parents of the victims, but I feel the law has to stamp down on this because the message isn’t getting through.
When all is said and done, the victims went for a ride and it ended in tragedy.
They knew the consequences and what could happen.
