Blackburn Sea Cadets had use of the council charity shop for a week and wish to sincerely thank all who contributed in any way.
Every penny raised is used to maintain the unit headquarters and ensure that we can continue our long history of training the youth of today to become the responsible adults of tomorrow.
We wish to thank the council for providing the shop and fervently hope that alternative premises can be found when the market is demolished. The shop is a lifeline for all the charities.
Capt J Brunskill, Blackburn Sea Cadets.
