I READ the statement made by Burnley College regarding the veil.
I fully endorse the statement made – why should the Muslim women wear this?
We cannot know whether it is a man or women, as well as there being a total lack of communication because you cannot see their face.
Some years ago I went on holiday to Istanbul and wanted to see the blue mosque.
I was told that I had to have my arms and legs covered.
I did abide by their laws.
Why don’t the Muslims abide by our laws? I just hope someone listens and stops the wearing of veils.
