MAY I congratulate Lancashire United on their Spot On Bus service (every 12 minutes) and the Whalley Ranger (every 10 minutes).
I just ask, as a resident of the Highercroft/Newfield Drive area, about service number 12 – may we have a decent bus service?
Most buses in the daytime are not user-friendly – for older people, young mothers with prams, or people with a slight disability.
In the last fortnight, in 12 journeys, the bus failed to turn up four times, meaning a 35- minute wait, and five journeys were 8-12 minutes late.
This has been a constant pattern since January this year, when buses were “returned to resolve reliability issues” (Lancashire United’s words).
It would seem to me that the neglect of this route is deliberate policy.
Could we have some action or at least some reasonable excuses from the bus company?
