GOD bless Pope Benedict XVI for daring to visit England, surviving a would-be terrorist attack, courtesy of our intelligence services and special police – not our present government who are hell-bent on cutting these services to pay our national debt, left as a present to us all by the lunatics who went under the name of New Labour.
If the majority of your readers are surprised at the Pope’s frankness, I am not.
I also applaud him for his speech on Christianity, condemning the politically correct nonsense brought in by New Labour that has threatened to destroy Christmas festivities and Christianity in general.
Our churches are being destroyed while other religions in this multicultural society are flourishing.
Why does it take Pope Benedict to speak out? What has happened to the voices of our own clergymen and women?
Unfortunately, I believe it will take even more than the Pope to stop the decay of Christianity in this a country.
The PC brigade will wave him off, and then it will be back to the norm.
It is up to the people themselves by voting in a government that promises to help stop the decay of our religions and heritage, and who will put a stop to the squandering of taxpayers’ money on asylum seekers, refugees and the work-shy.
Unfortunately, I don’t think we have one!
