Paul Kokoski questions the decision to have a rap song serve as the ‘youth anthem’ during the Papal visit to the UK (Letters, September 13).
Mr Kokoski went on to make an astonishing claim: that rock and roll was actually “slang for sex”.
Now, I have since checked with the latest Oxford dictionary, wikipedia and various thesauruses but as yet have not found anything to back up these shocking revelations.
I sincerely hope that Mr Kokoski is wrong because, as a musician, I may have to be very careful in future when explaining my line of work.
