Whilst I accept television adverts as a necessary evil, their increasing stupidity ceases to amaze me.

I often wonder how much these people are paid to make complete fools of themselves.

The ones that get my back up most are that fat buffoon with the silly moustache who comes running from the ocean on to the beach of some desert island.

Another one is the idiot driving Renault Clio, who meets up with his girlfriend’s father.

No doubt advertising does work, but why insult people’s intelligence with this childishness?

I think that it would put me off their products or services.
