IN view of the recent hot weather and threats of a hosepipe ban, I find it hard to believe we have never increased out catchment areas of reservoirs to cater for the increase in householding which has taken place since the end of World War Two.
Most of these properties have two or more bathrooms, etc, also business premises add to the strain on our inadequate water services.
