Re the story about free school bus travel being axed (LT, June 28). Everyone should pay. Those who say they can’t should get out of bed and go to work.
If they are unable to work then let them pay out of their benefits (which are their wages after all) in the same way working people have to. It is time this country woke up to the fact that nobody should be entitled to a ‘free ride’, that is why we are in such a mess.
