I want to express my delight at the concert for the air ambulance in Padiham Unitarian church (June, 26).
The church was packed to bursting. People were turned away and they had come to see a very special little girl.
Grace O’Malley, just gone 12, left us open mouthed with shock and delight. This beautiful child sang song after song from Vera Lynn to Les Miserables to opera and we were privileged to be there that night. Her voice is amazing.
It was like seeing Katherine Jenkins. She had poise, confident rapport and the way she connected with each and every song had me in tears. A star is born! Well done to all involved well over a £1,000 raised!
One day we will be paying £200 a ticket for this girl because we should be so proud to have her on our doorstep. No wonder Mr Ted Davidson was entranced.
Well done Grace, you gave me so much pleasure that night.
MISS J WATSON, Longridge
