YET again I went to work faced with the dilemma of where to park. And before the greens start harping on about public transport, yes, I have considered it, but unfortunately services are not good or reliable enough to enable me to drop my eldest child at school, my youngest at nursery, and arrive at work on time.
When is the council finally going to tackle our traffic problems without penalising those of us who work very hard to live a decent life and provide for our families?
Increasing parking charges is not the answer, since eventually working in the town centre will simply not be an affordable option, unless you are on council management wages of course.
