I WRITE in support of Mr N Wilkinson (LET, April 24). Recently I passed a school bus and saw children standing up all around the driver.

On the upper deck children were hanging out of the windows and standing across all the front windows.

If that bus had to brake or swerve, I dread to think of the outcome.

The driver is there to drive, he cannot be expected to restore order.

If he should put anyone off, it's he who would be in trouble.

So let either the school or bus company provide a conductor.

Situations such as this are accidents waiting to happen with dire consequences.
