HAD Margo used her arguments (LET, April 25) to justify her criticism of the Rice/Straw protesters in her earlier column, I would have no complaint.
Yes, we are in Iraq and yes, we must support our forces to the full, but as for the who and why they are there, that's an entirely different story.
Margo's point was that the protesters deterred the potential investors in Blackburn, a point she has not defended.
My point, and that of many protesters, it would appear, was that we went to war on an outright lie, perpetrated by our two Governments and this was their way of protesting.
