I HAVE been very interested in references recently in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph regarding the teaching of BSL, ie British Sign Language.
One point not made in your articles, which I think will be of interest to a lot of your readers, is that there are, as in spoken speech, accents.
I sign with a Scottish accent which I am given to understand by the Blackburn signing community is much more understandable than the accent from Burnley!
