RE the proposed £45million development plan envisaged for Blackburn Cathedral.

Having upgraded Whalley Abbey for business, as well as spiritual, reasons, the diocese are quite unnecessarily embarking on a huge cathedral undertaking.
Of course there is room for improvement and development work in the cathedral area, but it also looks lovely as it is, with the spring daffodils.
