I AGREE with some points of M Wicks (LET, Feb 11) about residents being prosecuted over bin bags.
But on the other hand, it is not entirely the council's fault Blackburn is a dirty town.
The problem is caused by some people who live here, the ones who throw litter all over the place and let their dogs foul pavements people who leave a disgusting mess spilling out on to pavements and people who don't sweep their own paths or keep gardens clean and tidy.
So I say to all these people responsible for dirty Blackburn: stop showing up clean and caring people and clean up your act.
