WE all witnessed the disgraceful demonstrations in London and elsewhere on national TV regarding the cartoon/Muslim affair. I can understand to some degree the feelings but come on, the disgusting and distasteful placards they displayed and the dressed up suicide bomber (ex-drug dealer).
If it was in the balance whether I was racist' or not, these events would have certainly tipped the scales!
I am not, however, a racist but I believe something very radical has to be done to stamp out this form of outrageous behaviour and I believe that Muslims themselves have to root out these fanatical extremists and hand them over to the police.
I also think police should make visible arrests in order that we can openly see that something is being done even if it does incite some trouble. (I do appreciate that a lot of work is going on behind the scenes with the video footage etc., in trying to bring these individuals to justice).
These people must be made to know that they cannot act in this manner in this country. Protest by all means but do not cross the line of inciting anger and hatred.
