JUST when is this country going to wake up to the fact that we are being ill-served by our politicians, judges and psychiatrists, in the matter of our escalating number of sex offences, particularly against children.
The punishment, deterrent and future protection of the public is blatantly and pathetically inadequate.
We have read about children being taken from their homes as young as three years of age and sexually assaulted or raped.
Ask the public what should happen to such insane and malevolent creatures found guilty of these heinous crimes and the best you will hear is imprison them for life'.
The most popular verdict, however, would be to put these examples of inhumanity up against a wall and shoot them.
But do our politicians reflect our views? Certainly not. Well put it to the vote.
As for judges, well they would be better off in nursing homes for the good they do. Usually decrepit and completely out of touch, if they have to hand out a custodial sentence, it is a short one.
And the psychiatrists who supposedly assess these criminally insane people can see no further than the end of their nose.
Do they not realise a paedophile is a paedophile for life? That a man raping a three-year-old child will never be safe in the community?
What protection does that afford our children? None.
A psychiatrist is supposed to see behind the pathological lies and psychotic ramblings we, the public, recognise when perpetrators want to get out to do it again.
Where is our champion?' Who will right these gross injustices? Who will protect our children?
