I WANT to say a very big thank you to everyone who helped me find my dog Ellie.
She went missing on January 17 in the Darwen Tower area. Thank you to everyone who helped me to look for her. I seemed to have a search party of about 20 people, consisting of walkers, runners and other dog owners helping me.
They all went looking for her without a second thought.
Thank you to the young lads who rang me to say they had found her safe and well (she was sitting at the tower refusing to come down, but they eventually persuaded her) and my husband collected her from their house.
Thank you also to the lovely people at Roddlesworth Information Centre who charged my mobile for me.
After all the negative things you hear about people it is nice to have your faith in human nature restored.
It just goes to prove that not all young people are hoodies out to rob you of your worldly goods and that Lancashire folk are the salt of the earth.
