HAPPY New Year to the foxes, deer and hares of the West Pennine Moors. No more being pursued under the banner of sport, they can live in relative peace and quiet.

Anne Barlow is reported as saying "We had more people watching than we have had before and they were supporting us. There were no protesters or none that I saw."

No hunting no protesters, if the hunters stay within the law and animals are not being killed or pursued why would we need to protest we've won!

I enjoyed my Boxing Day for the first time in 25 years, I socialised with the people who I like and did what I wanted to do. For the last 25 years I've been protesting at Rivington Barn, mixing with bloodthirsty people pursuing wildlife in the name of sport.

The ban, I hope, will not be lifted, the police will enforce the law and the Holcombe will pursue a false trail for ever.
