REGARDING all those who help others, be it a relative, friend or neighbour, there are many dedicated individuals who have been in a caring career for years and years, their energy is outstanding!

One such special lady is Dorothy McGregor, a devoted mum, who works tirelessly for the needy of Maundy Grange.

No matter how busy she is, she still spares a little time to speak to those in trouble.

I know that comments in the press recently suggested lots of the wrongdoings in the town were attributed to some people who attend Maundy Grange for various reasons.

This reasoning is over the top. They musn't forget that there are many barrels and the same number of rotten apples in all walks of life!

Therefore to return to the subject in hand, no matter how busy Dorothy is, she still has time for those who need her urgently.

If anyone deserves support, she certainly does.

Her patience, her lovely smile is endearing to all who come in contact with her and she needs our help in any way we can.

Where else would you receive such a heartfelt welcome as hers, especially when she has experienced a very trying day?
