The biggest con trick transpired this week by the BBC.
All the analogue stations vanished from our TV sets without a squeak from the public.
The reason the government (aka the BBC) took analogue off, was to flog these airwaves to our lovely mobile phone companies for squillions of pounds. Who picks up the bill for converting our TV to digital? We do.
Why should the public have to fork out around £20 for a digi box? And why don’t we all knock off the £20 when we pay our ‘Poll Tax’ licence fee? And we all know the answer to that one.
The BBC and the government just treat us all with contempt.
