PLEASE can I say through your newspaper about the fantastic treatment I have just received from Ward 10, Phase 5, at Burnley General Hospital.
I was admitted on November 19 for a total knee replacement, had the operation on November 20 and came home feeling great on November 23.
The care and attention I received during my stay was wonderful, caring and kind.
I was in a single room with en suite bathroom. It was lovely and clean.
Sometimes things are said about the NHS that are not good for them.
My experience was great, from Mr Smitgen the surgeon and all the doctors and nurses, care assistants, physio and cleaners and last but not least the welcome tea ladies. Thank you, Ward 10.
