All over England, thousands of ordinary men and women have been bitterly disappointed to find the ones they deemed special, worthy enough to represent their towns and cities in the Houses of Parliament, have been judged morally bankrupt.
The self-degrading charac-teristics that became apparent once they were allowed to put their snouts in the trough they call the public purse has caused anguish and anger.
Compare the avarice of so many of our MPs with the dignified behaviour of the elderly in our society.
Many Pensioners live in gentle poverty, not claiming a penny more than they need, in the mistaken but admirable belief that if they take more than they need, there will be less in the purse for those more needy than themselves.
It is obvious the words Grace and Honour are more applicable to our pensioners than to our MPs.
