IN response to C Hall’s letter (LT, June 10) regarding the D-Day memories, I would like to make the point that freedom of speech is for everyone.
But when extremist groups like the BNP are allowed to collect thousands of votes and the very people whose parents fought for freedom, including the Allies who fought side by side with us, and if anybody speaks out like the Al-Qaeda are put in prison, making it appear that these actions are only applicable to the white population, it never ceases to amaze me why we cannot get to the bottom of racism.
