I am sickened that a Northern working class town like Burnley, has become so apathetic regarding voting, that they have allowed a tribe like the British National Party to get in at the county council and European level.

Lancashire made this country great and very rich with the cotton industry and has always striven for social justice; this was always a place to beproud to come from, but not now.

Most of our parents or grandparents fought in two world wars to prevent hatred and the destruction of democracy.

Indeed, our very brave soldiers are still giving their lives for the same reason. So shame on you, Burnley. These people in the BNP have nothing to give but hatred. They have no proper policies so you will get exactly what you deserve: nothing.
