WHAT a nice story in the LT about Classic, the Thwaites shire horse, retiring after 15 years of hard graft, delivering beer and attending shows. Nice also to see that his final years will be spent with Charles his keeper.
It was good to see Classic lapping up a pint of beer and then later seeing him in his new home, leaping about the field like a spring lamb and rolling around in the grass.
I couldn’t help but think, if he’s like that after a pint, I wonder what he would be like after six?
A great story and a beautiful animal. Enjoy your retirement, Classic!
