Following the recent furore regarding turning off the lights on the M65, I think that I may have found a solution.
The council states that by turning off these lights, a yearly saving of £65,000 can be made.
Well, if the council was to turn off every other light then they could save £32,500, reduce carbon emissions by 150 tonnes and I could still see where I was driving. Simple!
