FIRSTLY, does Coun Alan Cottam own a car? I am an OAP who is sick and tired of the verbal abuse that we get.
Does he not realise a lot of old people are alone? A journey on a bus might be the only outing they get, where they are surrounded by people.
I used my pass and waited one and a quarter hours for a bus service which runs every 12 minutes.
But that’s okay, because having sat in the wind and rain I might get flu, go to the doctor’s and get a free prescription, the only thing we are entitled to. We are not second class citizens, but senior citizens. Claw back some handouts then we might become first class citizens.
