I THOUGHT I had read and seen everything. But I couldn’t believe Coun Alan Cottam’s statement about bus passes for pensioners.
How old is he? Not 65 or 70. Wait till he gets to that age when a bus ride is his only enjoyment.
How can he begrudge an old age pensioner having a day out when they have nothing else.
Would he like them to stay at home isolated by themselves? I just cannot believe what he has said.
