WITH the new bin system to be introduced to another part of Darwen, perhaps with bonfire night fast approaching, the local council could issue an instruction with the bins again that they must not be left out after emptying.
Having ours emptied on a Friday means a number of people leave them in the back all weekend or Friday and/or Saturday nights making them targets for the yobs and burglars.
The fire service will be busy enough over the next few weeks without putting out fires because people can’t be bothered to put their bins back.
And on that subject will we be informed where the recycling bins are to be collected from?
At the moment boxes and bags go from the front gardens, bins from the back in terrace properties. Can some proper information be given if this will still be the case?
