When I write a letter showing my support for the NHS, I would not leave the lovely district nurses out of my appraisal. Hard working, caring, cheerful and kind, a better service could not be found. They breeze in and greet me with a quip and a heart-lifting smile and set about dressing my wounds with faultless precision.
Are we not lucky to have these ‘Nightingales’ visit us? All this on a daily basis makes this old ‘hermit’ feel very secure.
