I WOULD like to thank the paramedics who took me to the Royal Blackburn Hospital.
Doctors, nursing staff and especially Dr Ahmed in the emergency ward who couldn't do enough for me and later the staff in the assessment ward.
And after leaving the hospital, Dr Singh the emergency call-out doctor who turned out one evening at 12 o'clock.
And last but not least, Dr Muzaffer from the Darwen Health Centre who, despite it being a holiday, turned out four times and said he was only at the end of the phone, and his staff who must have been sick of hearing my husband's voice.
I don't think these people are thanked enough for the work they do.
MRS ANN LIGHTBOWN.
