DOES Blackburn with Darwen Council think that the people of the borough are like most of the council and will follow like sheep with all that they say?
I read that planning permission had not been given for the new road, from Freckleton Street bridge, Blackburn.
In the next paragraph it says that the orbital route is due to be finished next year.
The bridge itself has taken more time than that and is still not completed. Does this mean that planning permission for the road will be pushed through despite the wrangle over St Peter's graveyard still not resolved?
Has the council not done enough damage to this town as it is?
The money spent on Church Street to make a pedestrian way and then using it as a car park.
Now it is being dug up and more money goes down the drain.
Is the council going to wake up and make Blackburn a better place to come and shop, not a place to be ashamed of?
MR E LIGHTBOWN, Formby Close, Blackburn.
