MY husband was taken ill on Christmas morning so I rang NHS Direct. The service over the phone was excellent.

They arranged a home visit from a doctor who gave treatment, followed by a phone call from Darwen Health Centre to check all was well.

On December 27 he had appointments with two consultants at the Royal Blackburn Hospital.

Service from everyone concerned was excellent, all done with a smile, as it has been over the last three years, well done and a big thank you to all.
