WHILE more people shopped on the internet than attended church this Christmas, there can be no doubt Britain still has a strong Christian heritage.
Even atheist Richard Dawkins confesses to singing carols, and believes children should grow up with a knowledge of the Bible.
So, how about it? Read the Bible in 2008.
Those of all faiths and none would benefit from re-discovering the beliefs and values that underpin much of our history and culture.
For any who want to take up the challenge, I'd be happy to provide a plan enabling you to read the whole Bible over the course of a year.
