EACH Christmas World Cancer Research Fund remembers those who have lost their lives to cancer through its Candle of Hope appeal.
From Christmas Eve through to Twelfth Night, candles burn in 20 major cathedrals around the UK, from Blackburn to Bangor.
The candles are a way of giving WCRF supporters and cathedral visitors a chance to reflect.
Every penny raised by the appeal funds research and education work and to date has raised over £586,000.
If you would like to dedicate a Candle of Hope to a loved one and have their name entered into the WCRF Book of Remembrance, call WCRF on 0800 970 1461 or visit our website www.wcrf-uk.org.
