WE WOULD just like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to the people responsible for removing the new plants from the piece of land at the corner of Accrington Road/Bank Lane, Blackburn.

What is the matter with you that you can't stand to see something looking nice?

We try our best with the council to get them to clean up and preserve what greenery we have, only to have it destroyed. There are plenty of plants in the garden centres but we don't suppose you considered that.

If you have any conscience at all then you will return them to their rightful place, but we won't hold our breath on that happening.
