I UNDERSTAND that numerous readers have written to you about the disgraceful state of the Aqueduct car park at Ewood which has numerous deep holes which, at present, are full of rainwater.
The cost to park there on match days if £4.50 or £90 for a football season.
With the winter onset we have to negotiate these holes in the dark to get to and from our cars as the car park is not separately lit. It is an extreme safety hazard.
I am 80 and walk with a stick and have stumbled on more than one occasion. Over the last two years, I have corresponded with Blackburn Rovers and Blackburn Council to no avail despite being promised it would be levelled two years ago.
Apart from the moral aspect of taking money and not using it to repair the surface, it is a health and safety hazard - it is an accident waiting to happen.
