RE THE letter (LT, December 5) about football parking at Ewood Aqueduct, Blackburn.
I agree with with Mr Hoyle's comments, 100 per cent. It's a disgrace when you have to drive through numerous deep water filled potholes which make the car's suspension "bottom" and then park on a sea of mud. At £100 per season.
Because poor weather makes the car park conditions diabolical I have avoided using the car park for two UEFA matches and one Carling Cup match and at the same time not attended the game itself, resulting in lost revenue for Blackburn Rovers FC.
Last year I complained about the state of this car park and after two home games this year I handed in to BRFC a letter of compalint, and have received no reply.
I believe the Aqueduct car park is owned by Blackburn Council and BRFC contract hire it for the season.
We pay the fees to BRFC, so I would expect them to contact the council and request action and make the car park "fit for purpose."
If no action is taken I will not be renewing my car park pass for next season's football.
