WHAT has personal welfare and safety issues relating to Muslims visiting Mecca got to do with the British' fire and rescue service?
Shouldn't that be the brief and responsibility of the Saudi Arabian authorities?
How much British taxpayers money is this programme' costing?
If people are naive enough to risk electrocuting themselves or setting themselves on fire in Saudi Arabia it should not be the responsibility and concern of Britain's fire rescue service.
I would have thought the Lancashire Council of Mosques would have been quite capable of providing such personal welfare and safety advice for trips to Mecca.
