ON a recent evening, I had a person from NPower knocking on my door when I have, very clearly displayed at eye level, a notice saying Doorstep sellers not welcome here'.
My daughter answered the door and the salesman said he was from United Utilities.
I went to see what he wanted and it was then that he said he was from Npower.
Do these people not realise that, one: by lying I would not have confidence in their company and two: I have the notice displayed for a reason.
"What gives them the right to ignore my wishes!
Please stay away from my doorstep, I don't care what you are selling. I am not interested.
"When I am ready to buy I will come to you.
